Going behind the cut
Not a stellar episode though, as ever, some nice team interaction. It felt subdued somehow and a little bland. The first victim was virtually faceless and ignored; the second set up to be a cliche.
I miss Ducky. Is the actor not well? We're really seeing less of him this season; it's noticeable.
It was good to see Gibbs so open and friendly at the start; that lovely hug, but it all ended in tears, of course.
Loathed the senator and his wife; they really don't think the rules apply to them, do they? Or that people count as anything but tools to be used. And you do not go into Gibbs' basement, bring up Shannon and try and seduce him. Tacky, tacky.
The Abby cupcake incident was funny (loved the Tony/Tim hug) but went too far; they seem to have lost the balance between Abby being whimsical and Abby being unprofessional. And doesn't she have work to do? Gibbs' team isn't the only one in the building needing work done.
Not one of their best.
