Going behind the cut...

I forgive much for the ending (the after the credits one) but that was pretty bad.

Poor writing, poorly paced, TERRIBLE resolution.

You've got one gag; Dean turning into a wuss. Fine. Funny. I could've done with a more serious one after the last one, that advanced the arc (you have an arc, you service it, okay? You don't abandon it) but fine.

Then you pair it with an interesting idea, if a little thin, about a ghost sickness (and insult a main character by calling him a bully and a dick which I can shrug at but I bet won't go down well in some parts of the fandom).

Fine.

Then you fuck it up by making the ghost someone, if a little cliched (a kitten? A weeny-teeny kitten? Oh God) whom we like, care for, feel dreadful about the way he died --

And the heroes put him through it again. Torture him. Replay a type of death that resonates on a lot of levels, none of them good.

Made of fail.

And what was all that about the fear ghost; how does that factor in with the Luther ghost? They lost me there; it was like there were two ghosts and we only saw one.

Some nice moments; this is Supernatural; there's always something good and Bobby in it, talking foreign languages, calling Dean adorable; hell, yes, I am down with that, but overall... just who the hell wrote this?

And how did that cat get in the locker, hmm?
