If she hadn't been busy on Dollhouse, I could see Eliza making a good Ruby.

And she wouldn't be the first Buffy guest star... we've had Tara and Harmony. ETA And Fred! (thanks [livejournal.com profile] merfilly) ETA And Darla! I'm such a dork. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] spikedluv. But where are the Buffy men?

In another fandom entirely, I'm still watching due South and aww! Amanda Tapping and Nerus are in it! And it isn't even filmed in Vancouver! Plus, the episode I just started has Forrest in it (okay, probably most people think of him in terms of Heroes these days, but Leonard Roberts will always be Forrest to me).

Okay, that's a mix of real names and characters, but you probably all know who I mean...

I started a vid (bad, as they're time sucks and oddly stressful). Good because I'm doing it a different way and starting at the start and not thinking, ooh! That would be great for that bit at 2.56, and doing that when the rest of the vid is empty space and getting confused and tangled and it all falls to bits.

I'm polishing and tweaking and getting it spot on before I move on a second or two.

Which is slow but not stressful as I'm not trying to encompass three minutes all at once and I can do a bit, walk away and when I come back I don't have a dozen notes to self to remember.

Random stuff:

Voting closes on the LMFA at midnight tomorrow.

I am tired. Very, very tired.

I just finished Mansfield Park and Emma. I love MP; it's one of the least popular Austen books but it's always been my favorite. I feel as if I want to speak in long, calm, well-ordered speeches, but it'll wear off soon.

Writing: I'm stockpiling short TS fics for the TS Secret Santa prompts so although it seems like I'm not writing much, I kind of am. Are. No, am.

Yes.

Stoke play Man United tomorrow. David and I will be united (heh) in our antipathy for the one and support of the other.

It's the last weekend for collection of yard waste but it's cold and damp and I have to say that being outside raking leaves and trimming the bushes so we don't have to throw snow up over them when we clear the drive isn't my idea of fun.

Watching Tigerkity's TS vid to Paul Gross singing 'Voodoo' however...
