This was going to be really long. I know because I wrote it in my head last night as I was dropping off to sleep, aching slightly because I fell into the Christmas tree when I stood on the couch to put the Christmas cards up.It's fine. I'm fine. It has less needles but it'll live. Or continue to die slowly. Whatever. Who put it there anyway, that's what I'd like to know...David says it was on purpose because I wanted a fairy on the top and he wanted a star and this was my attempt to get to the top.

Anyway. I don't do memes usually but what did I do this year?
Wrote my first smut (Spuffy)
Wrote my first slash (S/X)
Expanded my range and wrote really weird stuff (Dilbert/Spike) and Snygel for Swmbo ::gulp::
Wrote outside my fandom (PotC for Circe).
Expanded my range of pairings I adore until any writer I love can have me worshipping anyone. Yes, I mean Glossing, Wesleysgirl, Piedmargaret, Byrne, Wolfling, Stakebait, Kindkit, Flowery Twat, Arundhathi, Gwynnega...all of you and more got me interesting in new pairings and I thank you for it ::smooches:: because it's made things way more interesting.
Still like Spike but Giles...and Wes...hmm, can't choose. Have them all. Yes. Ideal solution.
Set up a web page which has had about 55,000 hits since February.
Met people from the net in rl for the first time (Circe, Fitofpique, Flowery Twat and Glossing) and had the best time ever ::hugs you all::
Got feedback. Lots of it. Totally amazed and happy and bewildered that you all like my scribbles and bother to tell me so ::sniffles in pathetic gratitude::

Things to do next year.
Write something original to stop everyone nagging me (not all of you!).
Write less smut and more stories.
Read more fics because I'm way behind

Anyway, I woke up with two words ringing in my head; 'trifle sponges'. I don't have them. Damn. I have to go out shopping on Christmas Eve. So that's why this is short with no fancy links.

Most of the above wouldn't have happened if Green and Mahaliem hadn't both got me over here in March. Never even knew this place existed ::wondering head shake::. All of you...such lovely, nice people. I'll never forget the night the policeman knocked on the door at midnight and I thought he was telling me David was dead. Shut the door, went right on the computer and updated my LJ; got virtual hugs in minutes, while my hands were still shaking. Friends are people who are there for you. You always are.

Beta readers, help with my web page, encouragement, feedback that really helped, contructive, invaluable criticism, hugs by the hundreds...I just looked over the ficards. Some of you gave feedback on practically everyone of them. That's just so kind.
