Haven't updated for ages. Have you all forgotten me? ::sniffle of anticipatory gloom::
Everyone but me has gone to bed. I'm tired; today we did the Royal Botanical gardens; tommorow into Toronto for the Science centre. James Gordon was doing an hour show in a sunken bit with shelving steps (is that a rotunda? Too lazy to check). Lauren (3) was utterly adorable; stood up and began to dance (she turns in a circle, stamping one foot) and ended up on the floor dancing and smiling, clapping her hands, until other children joined her and she grabbed their hands and got them all in a circle. When do we lose that utter lack of self consciousness? Mine never got past 10, if that long; I danced at a disco and two older girls took me aside and said, 'Do you know everyone's laughing at you?'
Gah. Thirty years later and that still stings.

sangpassionne wanted Spike/Angel and you're getting it, you really are ::smooches you::. It's just started, 500 words maybe but I know where it's going. She's been tidying up my web page and teaching me, very patiently, how to fix it when Netscape Composer trundles along and breaks it all again, along with my heart and confidence. I'm working through a teach yourself html tutorial but it's slow...though I'm amazed how much LJ has taught me what with cuts and italics and whatnot.
Every night David, his parents and I have been watching a Firefly episode (they're really liking them) and playing the board game D got me for Christmas called 'Wise and Otherwise'. Lots of fun. Someone reads out a folk saying and stops half way; the others make up the ending, all get read out, people have to pick the authentic one. Fun is in the sayings, which have led to people giggling so hysterically they can't speak properly, and in faking people out, voting for yourself...heh.
I'm eating far too many After Eights. We're throwing a small party on Wednesday; maybe they'll get finished then. Unless I hide them in a cupboard with the ice wine chocolates and the wine gums...
