Me, I'm getting frostbite. I just got back from the bus stop, which is directly opposite the house and we leave at the last possible minute as the bus waits at the end of the road (taunting us) so we can see where it is.
I was out for approximately four minutes and my face is still hurting. I toldraynedanser that although it was minus 24, there was no windchill as the air was still.
I was so wrong. There's a thin, bitter knife of a breeze that slashes at you. I came in, staggered on numb legs to the TV and yep, windchill is minus 29.
We've had this for three days now and no sign of it breaking. The only good thing is that with the skies clear and blue, there's no more snow.
Ow. One cheek feels frozen, as if I've been to the dentist. Ow.
