It looks as if the week of spanking has ended ::regretful sigh:: Thanks to everyone who wrote/read/gave feedback to the writers. Some wonderful fics with a real range of emotions, from the funny to the serious and a nice range of pairings too.

In other news, Behind Closed Doors will be coming down off my page in a week or so. I've almost finished incorporating the beta changes thatkindkit suggested (I wish you could see them; detailed, thoughtful and makes me realise that when I beta read I just don't do it very well; she's brilliant at seeing the big picture.). Then I need to re organise it, merge some chapters and add more details...but the old one is vanishing soon. I'll keep it, because I'm a completist, but there's no point having two up. The story is the same essentially but so much more coherent now and hopefully there's more insight into Spike's feelings. The problem was always that I wrote the first chapter as a one off, no background PWP and when it grew, that just stopped working but by then I was stuck, a runaway train. kindkit grabbed the brake and saved it from ending up a wreck. ::many, many smooches and hugs::
There is a new chapter, a final one, too.

reality_bends. flaming_muse and wesleysgirl are coming up with some exciting plot twists and lovely interaction between Wes and Spike.
I bought Special K cereal just for the free little clicky thing that measures your steps. $15 dollar value? Humph. It registered eleven as I was fixing it to my belt; works on your waist jiggling (what?). I thought it was a pedometer, like the one in Benson's ' Paying Guests' and had visions of boring you all with my daily totals.
Rink still not ready; David built wooden sides and sprayed on more water. In minus 20 temps. Gah. Why won't it freeze properly?
