Okay, I'm all signed up at AO3 and I've been experimenting with the fastest way to upload 847 fics. Importing from my webpage URL works but leaves a lot of header to delete and everything is spaced too far apart/too narrow. Importing from LJ isn't bad but it's slow work finding the fics (I'm doing a fandom at a time). The Sentinel fics I can't import from Artifact, but I can from 852, though some of the fics there are dodgy (those damn *** for italics you have to use...).

Eh. Trial and error, I guess. I'll speed up in time. The worst is that with so many fics I have NO recollection of some of them and have to speed read fast to get an idea of appropriate tags and to make sure there're no warnings I need to be aware of.

I've uploaded all my Action! fics (1) and Chuck fics (1).

Two fandoms done! ::beams::

(reposting from the LJ side) Speaking as a AO3 support volunteer: the latest update introduced a few import bugs (paragraph spacing being one), which the coders are looking at now. As soon as a fix is ready they'll push an update through!

We're crossing our fingers and hoping for an easy fix, Support is swamped with reports right now!

i love the archive and am not worried or upset; I know what Open Beta means, lol.

But i did send it bug reports describing what i saw happening with my stuff.

I am barely able to use the minimum of html, so i am very ignorant about what the problem might be, but i was happy to let them know what i saw and am happily awaiting the fix, whenever it comes.

i think the archive rocks.

It helps us a lot when users let us know when something is wrong, so thank you!

I love the archive as well, I keep stumbling over old stories I'd forgotten about and stories I'd somehow missed altogether!

It's been slow going for me. I work on it as the mood strikes.

You'll be a very busy girl over the next week or so then. It's actually a good excuse to re-read old favourites when I see an author I love pop up for the first time on the archvie:)

That is seriously the most beautiful icon of Jim ever. I'm just going to sit here and look at it for a while.

I was looking in the TS section and seeing you and PoG uploading, and making happy gestures. :-)

When you have all your SG stories uploaded there, it will be a terrific excuse to re-read them all. Yeah. Like I need an excuse. Pfft.
*cheers you on*
