Gunless trailer

Passing this on, got it from tingler.

It's a long trailer for Paul Gross and CKR in Gunless, which opens on April 30th and which I am going to see if I have to go to the cinema ALONE. Which I never have. I don't know why. I mean, it's not like you talk to people when the film's on, unless you want to go to the special level of hell. Maybe it's because I have a tendency to shriek and grab the arm of the person next to me in a scary bit and it's nice if they're not complete strangers.

We're getting lots of trailers for it on TV and I keep mentioning to David that we're going so maybe it's sunk in... Gosh, we could, I don't know, go out for a meal afterwards, or to the pub for a drink :;blinks in amazement at the mere notion::

It's so nice now that E is babysitting age (and a free babysitter too :-))

ETA Rotten Tomatoes is denying all knowledge of it; isn't it opening in the US?

ETA And I get to play Canadian Actor Bingo; Alex Zahara (Stargate/The Sentinel) is in there and Michael Eklund, also SG-1, and Blood Ties, BSG, and I'm sure I'll spot more. Like Glynis Davies who's been on SGU and SG-1, oh, and Harper's Island, too. Okay, I'm going down the cast list and EVERYONE's been on Stargate, heh.

EYA 3 Yay! David emailed back and our friends are in, so we'll make a night out of it. Cool.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! I just watched the trailer and it. Is. AWESOME!!! I must see this. *nods firmly* Oh, and did you notice, even in the trailer there were some little dS in-jokes? Hee. I'm so excited...I may even be able to get my husband to go with me. You should totally make a date of it. :D

Aaaaargh! I am in the US, and I can't find anything about it showing here. :( I didn't notice that in your post until you answered me. :( I hope that I don't have to wait for the DVD. *sigh*

It is!! But! I showed my husband the trailer, and we might actually drive to Windsor (Ontario) to see it. I'm going to check theatres to see if/when it'll be showing there. We're about 2.5 to 3 hours away (driving), so...it's doable. :) We'll see. :)

It may be a limited release in the US; I know I saw the trailer for it, but then again I watch a lot of trailers at apple.com/trailers.

I can't see why it isn't everywhere :-( The fact that RT has nothing on it when it opens this week is astonishing.

I'm glad you hooked some friends into going but I've been to the pictures alone *loads* of times. For some movies I actually prefer it. You should try it at least once before you die. Not that your death is imminent or anything:)

Heh, I have no rooted objection :-) It's just that it's usually a special treat and a big deal (the price of tickets and popcorn make it a BIG deal for a family) so it's not something I'd do for just me; I'd wait for the DVD.
