Going behind the cut to discuss both episodes --oh and House last night, too (still haven't seen Castle).
Not sure about the ending of House; I'd rather it were Wilson rescuing him but the rest of the episode, oh God, I cried and had to look away during that amputation and was generally totally mesmerised. Hugh Laurie was good in his comic roles but my God does he rock in this one.
NCIS. RB did his usual suave, arrogant, evil best with the role but I do wish they'd remember how well he plays the hero, too. Just once. He looked good though and the interrogation scene was all I'd hoped it would be.
The plot was so wham-bam I felt dizzy by the end. So much going on... Mallison was vaguely more sympathetic but I don't buy her falling for Gibbs. Well, I mean, I do; he's hot, but it's still just not very believable in the context of the show. She still has me hissing at the screen.
Abby on the other hand....oh Abby. Bless. She's Gibbs' all right. Every one of his team would die and lie for him -- if he'd let them, that is, and you know he'd say he'd trained them better than that.
So none of it is about the raped Marine. It's all about Gibbs. God, how will he live with that? Who would've thought a perfectly reasonable assassination of a drug dealer who killed his family would have such ramifications?
Glee. So much of it :-) Still wish we could SEE Rachel's two dads, dammit, but loved the way it all played out.
Adored the cheesy YouTube feel of Safety Dance and seeing more of Tina and Artie, thought they did a good job with the mother/daughter duet at the end, but I'm still trying to keep from writing, not the angry sex with Sue scene but the post-Dream On duet happy, frantic sex with Will and Bryan.
Because that duet? Was HOT.
Joss. Come back soon.
