Just got feedback for my Evil!Willow and Giles fic from someone who was honestly trying to be nice on atbtvc.

Funny? ::bangs head:: OK, I get it, I see how it could seem funny but ::screams incoherently with rage:: it wasn't meant to be and now I'm all jangled with frustration somehow.

Ahem. I've somehow become a temperamental artist type. Who knew? ;-)

Last night's Angel.

Loved it, liked the fact Spike got to do stuff though I still think he's not relaxed enough on AtS somehow. Not as flowing. Apart from the duster. I'm with most people; seen enough of it. Isn't it odd? On BtVS it worked, it was Spike, wouldn't have had him ditch it for the world. Now? He looks out of place and fine, yes, symbolically he is, so possibly good choice...but don't tease us with JM in a suit photos over the summer and then keep him bundled up in the duster all the time.

Eve, again going with everyone else (why am I even bothering writing this? ::grin::) is the most annoying character ever. Eve/Kennedy; whom do I dislike most? She smirks knowingly one more frigging time, I'm going to do more of that screaming thing.

Lindsey sent Spike to save Angel? Why? Too easy? Doesn't want Angel to die yet, just wanted to sow dissension? Maybe. Interesting but Eve, honey, wouldn't trust him one little bit. And I don't think Spike does.

Wish they'd spoken to Spike after he saved Angel; have a feeling five minutes and they could have worked out a lot of the plot, certainly unmasked 'Doyle'.

Dreams bits were fun. Wesley one in particular. Symbolism of Wes staking him so thick in meaning, besides the slashy ones, heh. Wes; the one who used to be like a son to Angel in some ways. Wesley who kills fathers in a heartbeat to save people he loves. Wesley, father/son prophecy. Wesley who's always, from the start, made it clear he'd kill Angel if he went bad. Wesley who gets the job done. Wesley who, with Gunn is looking so ominously ominous that I'm all agog and a quiver ;-)

And huh; just shows how much they care these days; he's sick up there and no one goes to see him? Fred lets herself get put off by Eve, the others don't even check in? Harmony says, 'let's pretend we care?'Maybe Angel wasn't dreaming all the being unwanted bit.

I loved this episode; tiny bit uneven but so good to have Lindesy back; never even liked him that much but somehow it was really good to have someone from the past back. Let's get Lilah too. Can she kick Eve's backside and not in the least bit in a figurative way?
