Going behind the cut.

That was both interesting and slow then exciting and not very like Supernatural. I can't quite make my mind up. Ricky Worthy rocks, as ever and I knew they wouldn't kill him. Crowley being behind everything was icing on the cake.

Castiel's ability to be bitingly sarcastic without sounding it is gold standard.

Sam with no soul...interesting how we assume he'll be evil without one when in fact he's more...neutral. Dead inside. On pause.

Huh.

Loved the way we came full circle with the grandson Samuel didn't trust being the one to let him go. Laughed aloud at the whole 'put a bullet in me' followed by the sound of Sam cocking his gun. And again full circle with Sam asking Dean if he was with him.

Not so sure that a demon wouldn't know where Purgatory was; why would it be a secret?

I just reread Niven and Pournelle's Inferno and the sequel; people can get out of there.

Can't wait to have Castiel's reaction to this news...

Yeah, I liked this one. But it's not much like SPN as it was. We've come a long way. I just hope we're not lost.

And Sam's 'He thinks Velcro is a good idea' cracked me up too :-)
