OMG, this is awful

Just had an email from David:

There was a gas explosion down at a resort in Mexico on Sunday morning.


Elgin Barron, the guy whose surprise 50th birthday party we went to (last year I think) was killed in the explosion.

Larry Smith, the guy whose house it was at was nearby also, and is currently in hospital in Mexico having surgery on his spine and is in serious / critical condition. Linda his wife, was still at the breakfast table (the two guys had gone up for another coffee) and she has escaped with just scrapes and bruises.

Am in shock.

I just....no words. This year, this horrible, horrible year and those poor people on holiday enjoying themselves. I just found a report and a nine-year old boy was amongst the dead.

It has! One awful thing after another, some huge, some personal, some small but still sad...
