I just picked a leaf off the bay tree in the kitchen to put in the spag bol and thought I'd share a picture of it. I love herb gardens (our lawn is mostly oregano in several places) so when I saw this stunted, marked way down bay plant in a nursery at the end of a season, I brought it home. It had three leaves and was about five inches high.
Now look at it three years later!
And yes, I keep murmuring that quotation from the Bible about what the wicked flourish like ;-)
