Going behind a cut.

EEEE! That was so exciting and sweet all jumbled up together. Need to process but random thoughts:

If Danny ever calls a baddie 'babe' again, well, it reminds me of when Jim called a baddie 'Chief' on The Sentinel when everyone knows that's his name for Blair. Do not do it, Danny ::frowns at him::.

OTOH, calling Chin 'our boy' twice is adorable and the ending with the stockings hung up and Steve sewing his fingers off to get the suit ready then exchanging sappy looks with Danny = made of win.

Is it just me or did JM's accent veer wildly without ever sounding remotely Russian? That takes skill.

That missing money is going to come back to bite them, or never get mentioned again. Who knows. We obviously haven't heard the last of it though, come to think of it, because it ties in with Chin's back story.

And the Chairman was there at the end! He was on SGA as well. When will Jason Momoa guest star on the show? That needs to happen.

I'm going to get hounded out of the fandom but the little girl playing Grace is cute but always seems really offhand with the adults who aren't Danny and glancing off camera...

Overall, lots of interesting stuff and great team interaction with everyone showing how in four months they've become tight-knit family willing to do anything for each other.

ETA Sorry; thought it said in the pilot that Hesse was Russian. Or maybe the 'Anton' confused me.

It was a pretty rubbish Irish accent too ;-))

That accent wasn't at all Russian to me; it sounded like a bad version of Irish Gaelic lilt. I kept wondering when Hess became an Irish surname...

Oh, I'm sure he's *supposed* to be Russian, and his accent was certainly thicker in the pilot -- but this time it sounded like a back street in Dublin.

Jason Mamoa was already on the show. He played a blink-and-you-miss-him baddie on the pilot.

It's not exactly a big squee kind of performance, but I'm pretty sure he's in the show. I'd recognize those dreds anywhere.

Yes, it was very trying!!

Going back to what you said in your post, I really like Grace's stand-offishness. Some kids are only interested in the adults they're close to, you know? I thought it was adorable his colleagues were there to help Danny make a nice Christmas for her, but I don't mind that Grace doesn't care much for them yet and only had eyes for her dad.
