More Alex wearing even less

I've seen all the movie now and duh, Alex was one of the naked men running across the ice for a dare at the very start. It was a split second and blurry but hey, that's what freeze frame was invented for, right?

He's wearing a sock, boots, and a hat. And possibly a million goose bumps.

The movie was okay, but a bit slow and Alex is not in it much, maybe three scenes of note.

It's also...notable how much that sock is flailing from shot to shot and still keeping its basic shape.

I noted it too :-) I'm guessing it's on a strap (I remember Spike's sock on Buffy the Vampire Slayer; we got to see close-ups and they're...not that sexy but this is supposed to be an ordinary sock, I guess.)

Given that in his interviews he's said that it was getting on for -50C with windchill the day they shot this scene, I don't think Alex has anything at all to be ashamed of. Ahem.

Indeed not, given that the sock isn't being whipped away in the wind :-))

I hope that was done in one take; I've been outside fully dressed at minus 40 and it HURTS.

So, I assume this is a terrible action movie (which is my terrible movie of choice.) Just how terrible are we talking here? Should I bother to look it up on Netflix?

It got slated but actually it wasn't that bad. Just a bit dull. It doesn't help when all the fight scenes take place outside in a blizzard and everyone's in huge parkas with the hoods up so you can't tell good guy from bad.

Well, he's probably technically wearing three socks, but we aren't going to count the ones on his feet now, are we? :-)
