Reason #36 why I love my ebook reader

I can put it down on the side and read as I towel off after a bath. I can do that with a paperback if I wedge it open with a tube of toothpaste laid across it, but that can get messy if it springs closed.

Ebook readers don't close themselves on you ::hearts::

I don't actually read it in the bath. If I'm at a beach I will use the ziploc bag method of protection but I can't quite risk bathing with it.

But towelling off...oh yeah. I'm so there.

Okay, the guy in me is curious - how long does it take to towel off, counting the time drying hair/head when vision is obscured, that this is actually a notable arrangement?

ETA: I mean, sure, while blow-drying the hair is one thing. But toweling off

Ha! I see your confusion :-) It's more a desire to keep the process of reading uninterrupted rather than not wanting even a few seconds without it. See, I'm reading as I lie in the bath, as I wash one-handed, as I get out....

Does that make more sense?

Okay, yeah, that makes more sense. (Says the guy who likes wearing cargos cause it means he can carry a paperback in the left knee pocket.) ^^
