Our two external hard drives, 500 GB and 250GB were in the red (that's all me and Eleanor but I feel no guilt, none) so we bit the bullet and bought another.

TWO TERABYTES. And there were four TB ones on the shelf too but that seemed greedy.

Two freaking terabytes for $150. I was drooling.

So there's a massive reshuffling going on and like the Three Bears, Mama Bear has the big one, Middle Bear the middle one and Baby bear the small one.

David gets to share mine, if he's good.

He kept saying things like, 'Why don't you just delete those TV shows? You've watched them, haven't you?'

Eleanor and I clutched each other in horror then gave him a Hard Stare.

My 500 GB is filling up as well, but not enough to justify my buying a terabyte external hard drive. I'm drooling over yours. TWO TERABYTES.

You might regret not getting the 4TB one!

I've lost count of the number of multi-terabyte drives my best friend (without whom I wouldn't have a computer at all) has. She has TV shows, she has music, she has photos, she's currently scanning all the zines she has into the computer (having just bought a new scanner that does automatic feed two-sided scans to speed things up). She keeps a full set of external drives with backups in my house (updated every month). (And yes, there's a copy of my backups in her house, but I can get my backup and that of another friend into a 500 gig external. I haven't bothered putting too many TV shows into the computer - I'd planned to, but ultimately I'm more interested in reading than watching.)
