I don't know why the names never clicked, but Andy Berman, a Psych writer, was the voice of Dib on IZ! He said in an interview at the con that he's writing an Invader Zim reference into an episode of Psych. Eee. And there might be new IZ episodes, though ::sigh:: they keep saying that...

I'm following the InvaderCON updates to see if they mention the vid show that started at 5.00. I do hope that Eleanor's gets shown...they won't have time to show them all, maybe just the winning ones.

I guess it's the disconnect between actor/writer roles? You wouldn't expect them to be the same person? Have you seen the live reading of an unaired episode they did at the con yesterday? At the end, they have a Zim/Dib smooch which got the crowd squeeing. ZADR! Canon! Yes! Well, sort of :-)
