Episode's about to start so I shall jot down my thoughts as I watch in the commercials.
I called that death in the first three seconds. Clearly, I've been watching this show too long.
AU? AN AU? Can we please have an episode set in THIS reality that tackles Eve?
I'm enjoying the game of Spot the Difference from the big (CAR!!!!!! Which if memory serves was the one they planned to go with first and someone said an Impala was way cooler than a Mustang) to Ellen to holidays in Cuba...
Okay, it started again so now I Know All but I'm reeling over the 'angel who loves you' line. Is it something in the water? Was the a PTB con and they decided to make all the slash canonical?
Balthazar is funny. Still miss Crowley.
Oooh, I recognize that bit of Vancouver. God, I miss that city and I was only there a week.
CASTIEL!! YES! Love me some Castiel. Kill her? Couldn't they try flowers and a sincere apology? And why is she rendered impotent by an averted apocalypse?
That song is now stuck in my head.
And I know Dean's kind of skeevy when it comes to women but I wish sometimes they wouldn't stress it so much. "Your kind of librarian or mine?" Eh. I shouldn't judge. I drool, too.
I hate it when they put glasses on a woman and she doesn't look through them.
OMG, Atropos just exposed masses of stuff in a few sentences and Castiel is looking pretty skeevy himself. In a hot, scruffy, deliciously rumpled way, of course.
Enjoying this but still not quite sure why they don't need Fate -- and did anyone else wince at 'more preferable'? Not a grammar buff but that sounds wrong. It either is or it isn't.
Okay, all that's left me with thoughts I can't sort out except Castiel sucks at lying and God, our fate in the hands of angels, waving their hands behind the scenes.... What's that quotation about gods playing with men like flies for sport?
Glad they answered the whole, why can they remember bit because I was muttering about that.
I guess Castiel thinks he's being noble but he's sliding down to hell wiht all those good intentions and Fate didn't deserve to be called a bitch.
And to linger on the photo was clunky as hell but overall a good episode, tense and funny and revealing a lot about Castiel if nothing else.
And really, there WAS nothing else.
Eve. Remember her?

"More preferable" - I can parse a meaning, but it's odd. At least it wasn't "preferabler".
I also wondered why averting the pages once shreds the whole book. Myth was that they were constantly weaving and reweaving the tapestry. Hell, couldn't Atrie whip out her pen and write her own ending? Myth was that the Three Sisters wrote the fates of the gods, too.
Castiel, Castiel, Castiel. How desperate is the war going that 50k lives will make a difference? Or is it key ones, like Ellen and Jo?
I will say this - this ep kept the show on my dvr. (Though did you notice? Time travel next ep. Again.)
