Going behind the cut.

I just don't know where to start.

Oh, Castiel. Oh, Dean.

'Like a brother to me.' When Dean Winchester says that, it means everything.

I'm just going to be over in the corner, curled up and meeping.

I've got thoughts, like the parallel torture going on, the slightly skewed POV sometimes as if Castiel wasn't seeing things quite as they actually happened (the apology scene for instance; way too...grovelly from Sam and Bobby) the Bobby demon twin, heh, but I'm just left with this wrenching sadness at what's been lost for ever.

And, gah, Castiel is so DIM. Angels shouldn't be let out alone, seriously. You could see Dean's incredulity.

And heartbreak.

GAHHHHHHHH.

HURTS.

GAHHHHHHHHHH.

ETA As a huge Kipling fan, I loved the episode title. Very apt.
