In Heinlein's book, 'The Number of the Beast', the characters are trying to search a myriad of dimensions. They figure it's going to take years. Then the (sentient in Oz) computer tells them she can do it if they just let her at it.

So instead of 57 years -or 8 years - or 18 and a half days - or 11.4 hours - our preliminary survey was complete less than a minute after we left Oz - 5000 universes in fifty seconds

That's how I feel. Two days ago I had a bulging at the seams web page that had been shut down. Now I have my own one, lots of space and the work involved was cut right down, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] chrisleeoctaves and [livejournal.com profile] soundingsea who patiently, kindly and quickly got me up and running. I ::heart:: you both.

So what did I learn?

Netscape Composer? Evil. Really evil.
Jane? Dim but dogged, with numb fingers.
Friends, all of you who offered help, support, hugs? The best. Really. I can't get over how nice you all are ::hugs::

Go see it!

If you find a broken link or a problem, tell me and I'll write you a dribble ;-)

I've been going around altering links in profiles and such, but if anyone has a fic of mine archived with a link to me, I guess I can't change that. When my old site comes back on Monday I'll set it up to redirect to the new one, but if anyone wants to update their sites to show my new address, it should be safe now. Sorry for the bother; you don't have to if you don't want to.

And to save spamming with another post later -

Happy Birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] calystarose and[livejournal.com profile] mrmonkeybottoms! Have a wonderful day, filled with good things ::hugs::
