I just watched it.
I watched it alone as husband has whizzed away to the US and won't be back until late tomorrow. I was glad as it allowed me to Emote when Spike and Buffy had their moment (he would have been making scoffing noises and I would have had to silence him with a well aimed mouse to the head)and I also got to scream, "NO!!!!" when Angel came in and Saved The Day.
Was I the only one wanting Andrew and Anya to bonk like bunn, er, whatevers? He shouldn't die a virgin. No one should.
Who died? Some people died and they were all red shirts? Humph. In all fairness, Kennedy did good. She was brave and selfless. I still hate her but I won't write more nasty fics about her. But I'd gotten bored of that anyway, so not much sacrifice there.
Giles was more like himself. I liked the subtle needling of Willow and ::heart:: him for ever as he loves Jaffa cakes too. I adore them. Especially when you eat off the sponge, lick off the dark chocolate and get to the smashing orangey bit in the middle (TM).
Willow; it's a bloody apocalypse, woman. Stop whining about your hair.
My God, was Buffy chipper and chirpy or what? And what's with all the leaping off beds people have bonked on? Fastidious much? I'm sure they mopped up afterwards and if faith left her bra on, I bet Robin was still in his undies.
Loved that we didn't get to hear all of Buffy's letter to Dawn but it would have been nice to have found out what was in Buffy's to Spike and if that isn't tucked inside his jacket I'll be muchly surprised.
Did anyone else get the same feeling about Ye Ancient Tombe as we did when Drac's castle appeared in Sunnydale? Buffy never noticed it before? And I'm not 100% sure how she knew to go to it and how Angel found her in the Nick of Time. More snuffling?
I liked this episode. And Caleb's downfall was satisfying. How did he get behind the woman though? Through a mystic back door?
As for the final scene :whimper: She's not worthy, Spike. Or the Slaying made her horny. Wave a low fat raspberry yoghurt and watch her fling Angel aside.
