I'm pouting slightly because I missed the anniversary of my very first LJ post (it was on the seventh). Not in my own LJ; that birthday's coming up soon, but inharmonyfb's LJ. I went to read it and cringed so much (typos! Hogging her LJ when we'd barely met!) my face is red from all the facepalming (I love that expression; not heard it outside LJ and it conjures so perfect an image of someone, mouth agape with horror, hand pressed to cheek. Is it me, or is that a very female reaction ?)
Help. Got lost in a digression.
I was burbling about myobsession appreciation of anniversaries and round numbers. Yes. Anyway, in a week, it'll have been a year. Gosh. This time last year I was thinking about whether or not to get one, saying, with uncanny prescience, that I thought it might take up too much of my time (meiosis in its finest form or what? ;-)) and here I am a year later all snuggled down and content.
In keeping with my tendency to write a fic at the drop of a hint, I just have to do an birthday fic for my LJ or it'll cry as my web page got one ::pauses for the defriending on grounds of insufferable cuteness to die down::
As I'm up to my ears in fics to do, I won't leave it to the last minute as normal so help me pick a pairing as I'm torn between sentiment (Spuffy as that's what I was into when I arrived, S/X because it was what I moved onto almost immediately, or something else to show a forward thinking drive to fresh woods and pastures new.)
