We went over to our friend's house and adopted one of her barn kittens today. She's all grey, so we named her Willow. She was born on July 4th. She's letting us pet her and purring a lot but although she and Mac haven't fought yet, they're doing some hissing and growling or ignoring each other. Give them time. This must be a huge shock to both of them but I hope they'll become friends soon. Mac's seems a bit lost and lonely since Talisker died so I thought this would chirk him up a bit and a small, female cat wouldn't be such a threat as a full-grown male.

She's had her shots but will need spaying so off to the vets this week for her.

Ah, what a pretty kitty! Hee -- I particularly love the last photo. Yup, she's made herself to home. *g*

I have a little gray kitty like Willow, and she's just the most delightful thing ever, alternately bouncing off the walls and then cuddly as anything.

But be warned: gray cats are DAMNED HARD TO SEE in dim light. Harder than a black cat, even. I've smacked right into poor little Delilah a million times. D'oh!
