That was surreal because Eleanor, who doesn't watch the show, has many Tumblr friends who do and at every commercial break she yelled out things like,
'WEEPING VIOLENTLY'
'TRENCHCOAT!'
'DEAN, JUST HUG YOUR FUCKING ANGEL' (she censored that one)
Then it ended and I said to David, 'no one is going to be happy about this'
walked into the computer room and E pointed silently at the screen and a Tumblr post saying
'THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW DISGUSTED I AM AT HOW THEY LEFT CASTIEL'
Well, quite.
Anyone else reminded of Angel when they left Gunn to be tortured daily?
ETA And Meg's flat, drawled delivery of her lines grated. I did like Sam, even in extremis, saving the girl from her brother. It was a weird little B-plot but oddly satisfying.
