Feel slightly better today. Much brighter and bouncier :;tries to bounce:: Uh, let's not run before we can walk, shall we?

David got back five minutes after Wonderfalls ended (still good; not so funny, in fact quite bloody scary in bits, but I'm not complaining about that.) He brought expensive Grey Goose vodka that we'd read about in the Food and Drink magazine the LCBO give away free. I love that magazine. I sometimes find a recipe to adopt and it shows me a life where I can send my dinner guests away with a goldfish in a glass jar as an amusing parting gift, after using the fish as a centrepiece. :;sigh:; I suppose a ketchup bottle isn't quite as elegant, is it?

We tasted it neat against our Smirnoff and could tell the difference. Then I put coke in it, our mixer of choice with vodka, and we couldn't. Well that was enlightening.

I have quite got over my badfic/badwords paralysis. I wrote 1200 words of Snowbound this morning (my left arm is numb but I'll take that over a numb brain any day). I will write the way I want to and you all can read it or not, snicker as Spike smirks, whimpers and moans, or enjoy it as much as I do. My chosen alternative to 'penis' is 'cock' and after practising writing it all that time so my fingers didn't blush, I'm not bloody well changing it now. Totally up to all of you if you can't get past any of my bad habits ::grin::

I read the first Sharpe book, 'Sharpe's Tiger' and enjoyed it. Half way through 'Sharpe's Triumph'. I got about ten out of the library (all they had) and have them all piled up in order. I also squeeed as I saw an episode on History last night. Too far into it to watch, but I'll see when it's on again and who knows, might be able to tape the AD ones.

Eleanor is hovering, wanting to play Scooby Doo. We need a computer each. We'd never talk to each other, but it would be a peaceful quiet.
