But I had seven girls from 10.10 am to 4.00 pm ranging from age 3 to 8 and I'm entitled, yes?
Let me see.
Today I lost in Scrabble to Magpie who is an absolute genius at slotting teeny tiny words into teeny tiny places. But not by an embarrassingly big total (20 or 11 depending on how you count it) so modest pleasure felt by me.
I watched Wonderfalls and felt slight ennui in the first bit and enjoyed a spirited (sheesh, I am making so many typos here, Bad vodka, bad.) debate with David about religion during the ad breaks. He didn't know Catholic priests were celibate and I seem to recall screeching, 'but you're married to a lapsed one!' when he said he didn't know anything about Catholics. Him pointing out that even in the throes of labour I was vehement and adamant that next to 'religion' on my admissions chart I wanted 'none' cut no ice. Bloody indoctrinating Catholic primary school. Huh. Been a confused agnostic since 14 and I still said that. How scary is that? But I liked it overall. Can't see me not carrying on with it, though I still liked the first one best.
I also, despite imminence of deadlines, didn't touch my stalled G/X again. Instead I wrote masses of Snowbound and then decided to change who was in charge which means I have to rewrite the start. Bugger. Don't normally do that.
I also started my circle jerk fic so don't anyone feel your input was wasted. It's going to be Spike/Xander/Giles and Anya. Yep. Anya.
Typing this took ages because of the adjusting the typos. I'm going to stop.
And I'm on about my eleventh Sharpe book. I'm spotting a formula but they're fun. Must read The Spanish Bride and An Infamous Army to compare battle scenes...
