Relieved sigh

I took the car into the garage today. There's been a persistent knocking sound coming from underneath it for, well, months, so we decided to get it looked at.

They just called and it's something I forget already (links? bearing? eh, whatever) but it's only about a $300 fix, yay. We were thinking a couple of thousand, major stuff, so it's a huge relief.

Now let's see if they can get it back before school ends since my two pampered princesses were aghast at the idea of making their own way home for once :;rolls eyes::

haha that reminded me of my father-in-law, who had an almost-new new car and had been driving it for about two weeks when it started making a weird knocking noise when he went around corners. He took it to the garage who checked lots of things and racked up several hours' worth of labour charges, before they finally discovered the packet of Polos in the otherwise empty glove compartment.
