Mum comes out to visit us twice a year, spring and fall, booking months in advance.
And yes, she flies out from Manchester to Toronto today.
Good news is that as of now her flight's on time. I hope there's not too much turbulence.
We have rain here and it's chilly, but nothing out of the ordinary. Looks like Halloween will be rained out, leaving me with a lot of candy to eat. I'm sure I'll have help. We got the pumpkins last night and David has carved two, one to go. Really do look spectacular. I'll post photos on the day. It's a little subdued this year; the kids are growing out of it a bit and for the first time there's been no vast amount of time and money spent on costumes; they're both cobbling something together from what we have in the house.
