Still have email issues and no tech help forthcoming.
The thing is the four of us like Thunderbird because on one page, we have all our four separate email account; in boxes, sub-folders, trash etc. If we use Rogers Yahoo, we'd have to be continually signing in and out to see if we have mail. With Thunderbird, it's always there, minimized, and if an email comes in for any of us, we get a popup. It's as if all four of us are signed in at once.
Can I get that any other way with another email client? Clueless here; we moved from Netscape to TBird and they're basically the same thing so for 16 years that's how we've done it.
I tried uninstalling TB and when I reinstalled, it'd kept all our accounts so it was exactly as before, all emails there, everything. Frustrating as I wanted to start from scratch to see if it would help.
Rogers insist all is fine, the Best Buy Geek squad fixed it and signed off -- then I discovered only David can send emails, the rest of us can't.
Tearing my hair out here! Any help gratefully received.

As for your email issues, check Account Settings to compare David's to the other ones. Is it POP3 or IMAP? What is the port number? Depending on who's your email provider these may need to be changed or you may need to allow POP3/IMAP for each account. Also in Outgoing Server (SMTP) you should have 4 different ones (for each of your account). When you send mail for the first time I think TB prompts you for your password again but you can add it manually there if it didn't.
