New ice cream flavor

New Zehrs ice cream. Cinnamon Bun and vanilla ice cream with vanilla icing ripple & cinnamon bun pieces.

And I am dieting. I tried one spoonful to taste it and want a bowlful.

Ohhhh that sounds delicious. Ben and Jerry's makes some sort of cinnamon roll ice cream that is heaven on a slice of warm apple pie.

The flavour sounds interesting; the inclusion of cinnamon bun pieces, though, not appealing. I don't like ice cream with pieces of 'bun' 'brownie' or anything similar through it, so I'd avoid it. I've been caught out once or twice when it hasn't been obvious that ice cream has included spongey bits. The Co-op here used to have an absolutely delicious own-brand chocolate ice cream; but then they changed the recipe and added bits of brownie. Ruined it.

But I'd add to that - I don't like the sponge part of a trifle or indeed anything that involves sponge being 'moistened' with anything. Or - using Wesleysgirl's example - ice cream served with apple pie. Cream, yes, ice cream, no.

I don't think you can really tell they;re there; they mush in. But I'm the opposite; the bottom of a trifle is my favorite bit :-)

That sounds lovely! Have never heard of that brand. I have seen the Ben & Jerry cinnamon roll ice cream, but that's about it.
Mostly when I want ice cream I put frozen chunks of banana in the food processor-the texture's extremely close to soft serve ice cream.

That sounds nice! I use them in smoothies but not without liquid. Will try it.
