Just about returned to the land of the living after being struck down by flu on Dec 27. We'd thrown a party. David's mum didn't feel well and a few guests cancelled through illness so we knew something was going on, then the next day it hit Pat and me like a ton of bricks and that was it. Hacking cough, sore throat, headaches, aching all over, extreme lassitude. I went out yesterday for the first time in six days. I can only do so much then I come all over giddy. No appetite. First Christmas where I've lost weight. Not sleeping; all my muscles ache from the coughing. Every day, seems like, we hear someone else is down with it.

Pat and Colin fly home on Monday and they've seen no snow to speak of. Tiny bits fluttering down now.

Just glad that we were at least all well for Christmas itself and that it was just Pat and me who got sick.

Hope everyone on my f-list is well and happy ::hugs::

Oh, Jane! Let's hope that you recover fully soon, and 2015 sees you keeping well!

Bleargh! I got sick just before Christmas, and dropped 10 pounds—a holiday first for me, too. And I was still so traumatized by food, that I have avoided eating much at a sitting since, and haven't gained it back. Yay? It's like an accidental New Year's resolution. No fun at the time, but I'll take the benefit!

I hope your 2015 goes much healthier from now on!!!

Dayum, that sounds horrible. Do you think it's the flu, or something else? I'm glad you're feeling a bit more yourself in any case.
