Had fun last night; friends came over and we watched 'Calendar Girls'. The two of us that were British kept being very annoying as each new actress was greeted with cries of, 'Ooh, look, it's thingummy from - you know, that show with the -' It was jam packed with familiar faces and made me feel quite homesick.
Got a few things ongoing; Snowbound, the flashfic, that non fic article that I have yet to look at and that's starting to loom and make me feel panicky (why did I say I'd do it? Why?) and my first ever co writing fic.
So much fun Why did no one ever tell me how much fun it is? It's reading and writing all at once; how neat is that? It's also very good for me as it's slowing me down and making me think. I've been spending about thirty minutes on a single paragraph and using adjectives and things ::grin::
My mum's just got a new computer and we can finally set up web cams so she can see her granddaughters in all their cuteness (she's in England so she gets to see them twice a year which isn't nice as they're changing so fast). Anyone got one/words of advice/recs?
