mustangsally78's birthday today and I hope it was a good one ::hugs::
I've been out shopping all afternoon, but Lauren got steadily droopier and is now in bed at 5.45 all hot. We got some new kiddies medicine for her;little tablets that are supposed to dissolve the instant they put them in their mouth. She won't take the liquid Tylenol no matter how we try it. She did take the tablet though and ate some supper.
We got the webcam; pretty cool but no one we know has one yet so we can't really play with it; my mum and dad plan to get theirs this week. It doubles as a digital camera too which is cool and at $100 that's not bad. Technically, we can now talk to my parents for free, so the camera will pay for itself very soon. Won't it? ::crickets::
Last night we did the taxes. Yay us. And this morning I posted those blasted forms back to get the PR card.
We got two cheap DVDs too; Canadian Bacon and True Lies. Though I've gone off Arnie more than I can say, I love Curtis in that and I want to see ED in it as I don't remember her at all.
Well, after that exstravaganza of comsumerism, it's as well the easter eggs were on sale. I was entranced and close to wibbling at the Milka egs where the top comes off and you eat the mousse centre with a tiny spoon. Heavenly.
