The tung oil brought out so much color and depth; love that stuff (though it is smelly for a few days!)

Nice!! I saw on the furniture restoration YouTube vids I watch they use something called 'Wise Owl Furniture Salve' which i guess is like a wax? Scented with lemon verbena (i love that) - usually they put it inside freshly sanded draws to hydrate and protect. I love the idea of my dresser or whatever having that scent every time I open a drawer. :D

I think so! I liked it in the thrift store and now the shape isn't blurred with nine or ten layers of paint.
