karenbear and a late one to secondverse. Hope today, yesterday and all the tomorrows are good ones ::hugs::
I'm smelly (no hot water! No bath!) but happy. The boilerman just rang to say could he come early ::swoon::, popped in, said yes, you need a new one and it'll be installed today, or at the very latest tomorrow morning.
Now that's service. Canadian people seem to really be there right away, as compared to British plumbers, delivery men, carpet fitters etc who are more likely to see appointments as guidelines a la pirates code.
Of course Lauren picked last night to wet the bed...I washed the bedding in cold water and it seems to have worked; my friend says she always does that. Must try it; the amount of laundry we do, it might really show up in the heating bills...
