Happy Birthday
glossing! Hope it's filled with good things, like the rest of the year until the next one ::hugs::
Much to all your relief,no doubt, I won't be doing my usual whinge and pitiful, plaintive pleading for sympathy about my Book of Days fic. No. For I have, umm, 2327 words of it done and I know where I'm going with it :;dances happily:: It's not going to be much over 3,000 but that's fine, and there's a real spring theme to it for once. It's very light hearted compared to the other three I've done for the challenge, which makes a change, and fairly smut free so far, which will have to change, heh ;-)
Off out to the garden centre later; I had a Japanese maple for my birthday so I pulled up (with my bare hands!) a deadish shrub in the border and we're putting it in there. I want to get a plastic tube to put by the side of it, at an angle, so we can water it deeper in the inevitable drought.
Probably won't be a chapter of Act of Nature today as we're all caught up now, and it's an Angel night, but we're busy writing it and it'll be up as soon as we can. See how it goes. Thanks to everyone who's been reading it and giving such lovely, supportive feedback ::hugs::
Other than that, still enjoying mum's visit, and the sudden good weather, and life in general is tootling along fine.
