It's not on my birthday list, so I hope I've got the day right, but many happy returns of the day to [livejournal.com profile] stateless82! I hope the day is full of goodness ::hugs::

ETA And it's [livejournal.com profile] saussy's birthday too! Hope it's a very happy one ::snuggles::

I shouldn't be doing an update until I answer my inbox which has 84 LJ comments in it ::quails:: I'll answer them all, but in the meantime, to everyone who wished me a happy anniversary, thank you very much ::hugs:: We went out, first to Chapters where I bought the script book for OMWF, then to the cinema next door where we watched Van Helsing and I rolled my eyes so hard and so often things went black now and then...it had some fun bits, some good special effects and I loved the ballroom scene...but the naff factor was too high for me to be won over. And don't get me started on the wardrobe for the heroine... Then we drove up to a curry house, had food, to a pub, had beer, and home where I logged on and saw all the feedback for that post NFA fic.

Wow. Thank you; don't think I've ever had that many comments on a single fic before, especially one I wrote in ten minutes. And, because I can see it might be a bit ambiguous, from some of the comments, the ending is happy, without going into any more details. I might tweak it to make sure that's clear. David is chuffed that he inspired me too, though I doubt we'll be co-writing any time soon :-)

And this is why I buy script books..though the OMWF one is a tad overpriced for just one episode... This is the stage direction during 'Walk Through the Fire', when Spike is sitting in the alley, doing the 'The torch I bear is scorching me' bit.

'He is sitting with a cig, feeling mizzy.'

::dies of the perfection of it:: Mizzy. I love it :-)
