Yesterday was full of fun things happening and I was so busy I never got chance to update. Which means they didn't really happen ;-)

wesleysgirl and I got Act of Nature back from the lovely ladygaladriel04 who beta read through all 50,000+ words, which isn't easy in one go, but she did a wonderful job. :;smooches her with many snuggles:: We're in the middle of doing the editing and it should be up pretty soon. Very, very hard to edit as I keep reading it instead of proof reading it ;-)
Then at lunchtime, I got TWO packages; a belated birthday present of two Buffy script books and the video of the Buffy pilot and other goodies fromeccentrici. Squee! Thank you so much! ::many hugs::
And this is why I love those scripts; Chantarelle/Lily/Anne's real name was Joan. How cool is that? David said, 'not at all' when I squeaked, even when I pointed out the symmetry of Buffy giving her Anne and taking Joan in Tabula Rasa...
And in 'The Dark Age', it is 'Deirdre' in the script, so why Giles writes it as 'Diedre' on that piece of paper is a total mystery/cock up by the props people. And it's no use saying the scripts aren't as high on the canon chain as what we see on screen, because in the credits it's spelled correctly as 'Deirdre'. Humph. If I used that in a fic, I'd have people smugly telling me I'd got it wrong and then I'd have to growl.

Finally, see my spiffy new Ethan icon;catatonic1242 is doing 5 icons per Buffy episode, starting with episode 1 and she's done some gorgeous ones so far.
I rewatched The Dark Age after reading the script; anyone know if we ever see Giles' tattoo again, or does it vanish (as Angel's does now and then)? And the 'Forrester' book he lends Jenny; real/invented?
Shouldn't have said, 'finally' up there; uhm, voting is open at the 'Walk With Heroes' awards :;shuffles feet and feels awkward:;. My Snyder, Jonathan fic is nominated, if anyone liked it and wants to vote for it. But you don't have to if you didn't, and I'll never know ;-)
