Happy Thanksgiving and B.R.A.D

Turkey smells are wafting around and we're busy, busy; got friends coming over to eat with us as we have no family here and they're in the same boat.

Just got a sweet email from someone saying thanks; apparently it's Beta Reader Appreciation Day. I can certainly get behind that.

A big thank you hug and smooch to the people who've taken time to read through anything I've ever done and help make it so much better. I ::heart:: you all.

I mentioned my WIPs and forgot one earlier. Just to make me feel depressed they are;
Essay for the Heinlein Society on Buffy as a Heinlein heroine (some ideas, nothing written)

Book of Days fic (due in ten days, about a third written, inspiration fled)

Back in the Days fic (not due until November, two thirds done, stuck on middle, blank on ending)

Giles/Spike d/s fic Behind Closed Doors. Frozen solid while I decide where to go; back to the start or more middle.

The time travel G/S/W which I haven't touched for a fortnight.

A spooky Hallowe'en fic with a scary Spike. One smidge of an idea.

And I'm listening to a compilation CD David made and dancing around the kitchen to Rainbow, the Quireboys, Blue Oyster Cult, Judas Priest...and wondering why, two decades on, I still know _all_ the words...where's the bit of my brain that stores them and why?

Why isn't there an LJ mood for 'full'? Or why am I too full to check if there is? Turkey, ham, mashed taties, roast taties, sweet potatoes, squash, butternut squash, cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts, red cabbage, stuffing, cranberry sauce...that was just the main course.

Wasn't I on a diet? Hmm? And...round of applause please; I made gravy from giblets. I think I'm a mum now. That's a very mum thing to do, right?

Slightly tiddly and I want to write smut. Burn off some calories, heh.
