Oh, bugger

I scrolled through my trash and yanked out two non junk emails that got caught by my filters. One was from Rogers saying I'm at 70% of my blippetey blah whatever and my site might get closed for the rest of the month. As it's so close to the end of the month I didn't freak. Much. I rang them and found that it's 4 meg big and I'm allowed 10, so that's OK, it's just that too many people are visiting and I'm only allowed 300 MB of traffic. Simple equation; make the page smaller and I can have more visitors.

Except how? I have some pix. Could delete them but God, it'd break my heart ::sniffle:: I have 2 on my first page and three on stories, that's all. He seemed quite taken aback when I said I had about 200 visitors a day which gave me a moment of big headedness but then I thought of people going there and being told it was shut down and it was swamped in the panic.

I'm going to grit my teeth and take down some of the pictures for a while on the older stories; I apologise to the people who made them and I'll put them back up next month but I really don't want to risk going over.

Maybe if I make the fonts all 8 point, it'll be less MB? ::ponders this::
E.T.A I was joking about the fonts ::grin:: I know it won't help and I'm mortally hurt, wounded and offended that you all think I'm that dim. ::Thinks about it:: No, you're probably right to think that; carry on! :-)

Emergency beta needed

I've just finished a back up fic for the Autumn Book of Days challenge and I'd like to get it beta'd pretty fast as it's past the deadline. It's just shy of 3,000 words, Angel/Wes, S2, R rated and while not fluffy, is light and happy rather than angsty and dark. And a bit weird.
Anyone up for it?
