She writes Wesley mostly. She writes a Wesley I believe in, a definitive Wesley. She can do dark, like the Switchverse , an ongoing series of fics that have Wes, not Giles, as Buffy's first Watcher, and hence the one tortured by Angelus.... and God, the parts dealing with that left me shaken - and she can do funny.
Wesley in a Bond-type adventure , surreal and strangely familiar? Oh yes.
Wesley in his Watcher-school days, on an adventure in London with Nigel? Brilliant. That one is titled, Babes in the Wood, is co-written with
bethynyc and had me smiling so often my face hurt. And the guest stars? Heh. Perfect.
She's someone who leaves you remembering what she wrote and she's one of my favourite authors and people.
