I'm being funny here. Not crushed. Really, really not. I know perfectly well that it's my own fault for not writing a fic with tense changes every other paragraph, very little punctuation, and Giles singing Evanescence songs in a OMWF-style fic. That one got 14 reviews :;studies it carefully::

My friend lent me the middle book of a series yesterday -- she loved it and is going after the others. I loved it too and whee, one of the four local libraries has the other four or five books out so that's where I'll be when they open tomorrow.

It's called 'Dime Store Magic' by Kelley Armstrong; contemporary fantasy in a world with werewolves, witches and sorcerors, evil cabals and tradition going up against a new generation - and a world of suspicious mundanes. Nice smidge of UST and smut but, unlike LKH, it stays a smidge and thank heavens for it...

Looking forward to starting from the beginning.
