Birthdays and Arrivals, Belated and On Time

I wasn't around much yesterday and I missed a birthday! Happy One Day Late Birthday psubrat; hope it was a very happy day indeed ::hugs::

Mum arrived from England safely, if three hours late, and David comes home tonight, hurray. Feels like he's been gone a long time... and my brother and his girlfriend who he met here in Canada are safely back in Cairns; from ice storms to tropical heat; must be disconcerting.

I just woke from a really interesting dream where I was on SGA, except the city wasn't in an ocean, and Rodney was helping to fix my coffeeemaker. Really. It was fun; there were plots and connivings and colonists and I was being resourceful and in a sort of Elizabeth role.

And it's fading so fast I can't remember it as I write; weird how dreams fade like that and now I'm humming 'Abide With Me' to myself.

Off to do stuff; Eleanor has a Chapters book token from Christmas still and there's a new Edgar and Ellen book out so we'll drive up to our local Chapters and browse around.

The only trouble with the love meme is it gets hard to find people amongst all the entries but I've been scattering names from page 5 on as I've had chance today (I tried to remember who was on the other meme and not repeat names...) so... go, look, see because my inbox is full of nice things other people have said about you, too :-)
