darkhavens! Hope the Mondayness of it all is totally brightened by cake and pressies and spoiling of you ::hugs::
David got back at 9.30 last night (yay!) and brought me a bottle of Cointreau so I can make Silver Janes again as our last bottle finally got used up (the Cointreau tends to last a good long time).
Silver Janes might have an official name; don't know. I invented them in the pub, ooh, 20 years ago on a birthday when people wanted to buy me something special. They're not really complicated enough for a real cocktail but I like them.
I measure of vodka, one of Cointreau, add tonic or a clear lemonade like Sprite and watch it turn silvery, ice and a slice.
Very, very cold today; blue sky, all high up and empty and a swirling, skirling wind that's sending garbage bags flying across the streets.
