I was helping Lauren study for a Grade 6 science test on biodiversity and came up with a mnemonic on the spot to help her remember the seven levels of classification:

Kingdom
Phylum
Class
Order
Family
Genus
Species.

KPCOFGS: Kim Possible Called Out For Grape Soda.

I was modestly proud of that one. And it seemed to work. Given the first letter, she knew what it stood for.

Then we had to work on how to spell 'exoskeleton'...
