I've revamped the pro-writing section of my webpage this weekend:
See the shiny
but came THIS CLOSE to screwing up the other half of the site, where nearly 900 fics on their own page would each have had a 'return to home home' link pointing at the wrong thing :;wipes cold sweat away::
I'm way behind on archiving my fic to the point where I've cravenly popped a 'it's all at AO3, click this link here' note as a stop-gap. I know from the stats that people still go there and I'd never take it down, but adding new fics is time-consuming and the novel's taken precedence. I'm in the editing stages now so maybe when it's been sent off I can take a day to get the page up to date. I have years of work invested in the page and I hate to see it fall out of date.
I have a title now for the new novel; I checked Goodreads to see if it'd been used before in this genre and all seems well, so I'm going with 'Spoken from the Heart'.
I can see lines of code floating in front of my eyes.
As ever, cookies and kisses for anyone who spots an issue/broken link/has a suggestion to make the site clearer or easier to use. I have no webpage skills and Composer is difficult to work with in many ways, but I like to think though it doesn't have fancy bells and whistles, it's user-friendly at least and does the job of telling you what the books are about and where you can buy them.
