Finally got around to uploading the photos from the trip out on the yacht, Labour Day weekend.

Not sure what the statues are but they were interesting.

ETA The statues are to commemorate the people who died during the Irish potato famine.

Relieved sigh

I took the car into the garage today. There's been a persistent knocking sound coming from underneath it for, well, months, so we decided to get it looked at.

They just called and it's something I forget already (links? bearing? eh, whatever) but it's only about a $300 fix, yay. We were thinking a couple of thousand, major stuff, so it's a huge relief.

Now let's see if they can get it back before school ends since my two pampered princesses were aghast at the idea of making their own way home for once :;rolls eyes::
