Went to Toronto for the night yesterday and stopped by Oakville to show E's grandparents her digs. Went down to the lake (Lake Ontario) and wow. It was incredibly cold; minus 20 and more, and though there was no wind, the waves were huge and a fog filled the air. The waves rolling in were mostly made of chunks of ice, some fist-sized, some boulders and watching them smash against the shore was spectacular in a scary way.
